July 3- Cake Shop New York, New York. With the band Reign State. Very excited to be back a Cake Shop, they have the most impressive collection of fold out long view double LPs on the planet. I used to smoke cigs in the back behind where the bands play but now I don't but maybe I will.

We are taking the month of July off, normal service will resume in August. I'm going to teleport to Hawaii with my banjolele. Then we are going to perfect our new songs. I'm going to brew Kombucha. Perhaps some mushrooms will be consumed.

June 30- Cakeshop. In Manhattan. W/ Young Mammals. At SXSW, we played a show in a bar a bit off the main area. It was our last show of the fest when up comes this dude who said he came out here to see just to see us. I am happy when things like this happen. He is in a band called Young Mammals and now that they are playing up in NY, we're putting together some shows for them. They are good.

June 25- A Friday at 7pm. Part of the Northside Festival. We will play at Europa with Slow Club (from UK) and Netherfriends (from Chicago). Great to play with both of these bands. I like Europa, I once saw a band there and there was a beautiful girl dancing to them, so I went up and asked her name, now we are married with 3000 kids. I hope it happens again this time.

June 9- Glasslands Gallery in Brooklyn. Breakthru Radio is turning 5 and this is the celebration. Glass Ghost, Werewolves and My Teenage Stride also play. We did a in-studio session with breakthru last year, you can google it.

June 2- Coco 66, Greenpoint Brooklyn New York. With the band Reptar. They are from Athens Georgia and we've been trying to work out a show for some time. This is gonna be it, I get back from San Francisco the day before so I'll be bringing the vibe of weed and burritos.

May 22- Full House Gallery. Philadelphia PA. Saturday Night in Philly. I imagine we will get there early. Every time I go to Philly, the art museum has just closed and all there is left to look at is the Libery Bell. I'm like 0 for 8 on that museum. I hear they have like one Monet anyway, lol.

May 12- Mercury Lounge. 217 E. Houston St. New York NY. Playing with Everyone Was In The French Resistance...NOW! which is Eddie from Art Brut's awesome side project with his girl. He reimagines songs that didn't come out quite to his liking the first time around.

May 1- May Day Ding Dong. New York City. Literary event. We are selling cds, tapes and books as well. More info at http://maydaydingdong.blogspot.com/ If you think of yourself as an artist you should think of yourself as a vendor, you can set up a booth there too.
